On-going from UPL

Initiated by the University Press Limited in 2017, the Program transitioned to Aarshi Trust in 2025. The Adopt-A-Library Program’s aim is to enhance the quality of libraries across the country by providing them with books they otherwise could not afford. In addition, the program links donors with the libraries they give to, fosters bridge-building between different communities and sets the stage for further positive interactions.

Bangladesh Studies Series

Curated editorial projects to strengthen scholarship and critical reading on Bangladesh to promote an understanding of Bangladesh’s rich heritage and cultural influences, events that have shaped the country’s national identity, develop historical skills including analysis, and an understanding of key environmental and development issues in Bangladesh.

The Bangladesh Studies Series will cover subjects such as history, geography, environment, culture and development in Bangladesh. Work on the first volume – Bangladesh’s History, spanning from ancient times all the way to the recent events of 2024, is currently underway. Going beyond traditional historical narratives, the book integrates highly attractive designs and compelling graphics, ensuring that learning about the nation’s past is visually stimulating and offers a deeply engaging experience for young learners.
